School Resources

Hi there,

We're looking to redevelop our World Vision School Resources website over the next year. At the moment we're collecting research from students and teachers to find out as much as we can.

We'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the World Vision School Resources website:

Here's some things we'd like to know:
  • What do you like about it?
  • What's it missing?
  • What do you need for homework / study?
  • Any other ideas to make it better?
  • Do you use the CIA World Fact Book?

First of all, BRILLIANT idea Nige! Second, it is a great site! It's going to help so many kids in studies and just for general knowledge!

I like how there's profiles about each country, very helpful for research projects! I also like the variety of topics (War,Peace,Environment,Children) Really good to catch people's eyes and let them know what's going on. And I love the Social Action section. Gives people ideas of how they can help and create a solution!

As for the other questions, I'm in 10th grade and past learning about it all in class :) But some quiz questions make great revision!

Are there posters/flyers?Maybe students would like to take a flyer to show parents...

Perhaps maybe aswell, a small selection of books that would help enhance topics for discussion?

Hey GreenScene,
How have you been?
No flyers available at this stage per se, however we have posted a copy of the schools resources mag - 'Get Connected' - to every school teacher who might be interested.
The book list is a great idea though, we'll work on that one for schools and uni level.
cheers

Hey GreenScene,

Life is going great! I've been away from the desk a bit though - off to Maryborough, QLD in mid-Sept; then off to Murray Bridge, SA on the weekend after that.

I'm just getting my feet back on the ground now - but am REALLY encouraged by all the conversations happening here in the Blender!
